Meribel

Meribel is one of the resorts in the 3 Valleys ski area in France. It is linked to Courcheval, Montaret and Val Thorens.

Accommodation in Meribel is mainly in chalets with a large British population during the ski season. Meribel sits in the middle valley along with Montaret. On one side is Courcheval with two links. On the other side is Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe and the ‘Fourth Valley’. Its location makes Meribel the best resort to be based in if you want to explore the whole 3 Valleys ski area.

Most of the ski runs in Meribel are marked as blue or red. There are a couple of green runs in the Altiport area and there are some more beginner areas next to the main ski lift area at the bottom of the resort.
